Workshops 

On Nov. 4, 2018, the SWAN NA Alliance held its 3rd Workshop at the CWWA National Water and Wastewater Conference in Montreal. Sponsored by Eramosa, the event explored the potential for smart water solutions to transform Canadian utility operations and management strategies.

Presentations and interactive roundtables covered topics like data integration, customer engagement, smart wastewater systems, and the future of Canadian Smart Water Networks. 

Montreal roundtable

On Nov. 6, 2017, the SWAN NA Alliance Alliance held its 2nd Utility Workshop in Chicago in collaboration with the the Alliance for Water Efficiency, Current, and Global Water Works. Hosted by Uptake, the event interactively explored innovative, digital solutions to Midwest water challenges along with a special evening reception was hosted by Sensus.


On Jan. 25, 2017, the SWAN NA Alliance and Cleantech San Diego co-hosted a Smart Water Workshop at Qualcomm’s headquarters in San Diego. The event drew 200 participants from across the continent discussing the challenges and opportunities associated with the integration of data-driven technologies across the North American water sector.

Uncovering Canada’s Smart Water Solutions 

On Oct. 22, 2018, the Alliance held its 6th webinar sharing essential best practices from Canada and how these ideas can be utilized around the world. The webinar featured insights from:

 Smart Wastewater Solutions: Addressing Stormwater Challenges

On August 5, 2018, the SWAN NA Alliance hosted its 5th webinar featuring US utility experts who discussed solutions to various stormwater challenges. The webinar featured expert insights from:
